Body: Language
Classes begin with an invigorating yoga practice (suitable for all levels, including beginners), to warm, stretch, and release key muscle groups that tend to hold tension, lock in memory and emotion, and thereby cut us off from our fullest imaginative resources. We explore the ways movement encourages creative flow, and how breath acts as the interface between body and imagination. We incorporate vocal production, verbal and nonverbal forms of communication, visceral exploration of text, and conclude with guided relaxation. Experience how freeing the breath, body, and voice can help free the artistic Voice!
